  • June 28th, 2019 - I am excited to start my second season as a member of the Canadian National Team, Next Gen Squad. It took work, focus and dedication to get there.  Stay tuned for a very exciting season!

2018-2019

  • November 26th, 2018 - Canadians Earn 17 Medals at ISU Junior / Neo Senior World Cup Speed Skating in Poland
  • November 8th, 2018 - Canada Names Long Track Team for ISU World Cup Circuit
  • October 23rd, 2018 - Single Distance Canadian Championships - Hayden wins SILVER in the Mass Start
  • October 15th, 2018 - What National Team skaters think about the upcoming season and their new teammates!
  • October 2rd, 2018 - A look back at the Fall Classic 2018
  • September 23rd, 2018 - A great start to the 2018-2019 season at the Calgary Olympic Oval Fall Classic. 2 PBs in the  1,500m and 5,000m and a 4th place at the Mass Start. Check all results
  • August 22nd, 2018 - Denny Morrison to bring 20 of his Olympic speed skating teammates in Fort St. John for a two-week training camp
  • August 18th, 2018 - Glories of tomorrow with Hayden Mayeur

2017-2018

  • March 30th, 2018 - The registration for "Cycle 4 St Joe" is now open. I am proud to have been the co-founder and 1st participant of that event.
  • March 26th, 2018 - Hayden was selected for the 2017-2018 Quest for Gold Ontario Assistance Program 
  • February 15th, 2018 - Hayden joins "the Lead Out Project" cycling team
  • February 2nd, 2018 - Fort St. John to host Speed Skating Canada’s National Junior Long Track Championships & Canada Cup #3. Many members of Speed Skating Canada’s National Development group were in action as well as NextGen status athletes Hayden Mayeur of Toronto, ON, and Jake Weidemann of Ottawa, ON.  
  • January 9th, 2018 - Rewatch all of the races from the Canadian Championships. All the races from the 2018 Canadian Championships / Canada Cup #2 were Webcast live and archived on the Oval Youtube channel.
  • August 14th, 2017 - Hayden represented Alberta at the 2017 Summer Canada Games. All results now available.


Before 2017

  • January 28th, 2017 - Hayden finishes 5th overall at the 2017 Canadian Junior Championships. He stepped on the podium three times with a Silver medal in the 5,000m and a bronze medal in the 1,500m and the Mass Start.
  • December 22nd, 2015 - Congratulations to Ontario skaters Ben Donnelly (Long track), Isabelle Weidemann (Long track), and Hayden Mayeur (Short track) who are recipients of the 2015-2016 Intact Insurance Olympic Oval Bursaries Award.
  • May 24th, 2015 - Hayden wins the Grey County Junior Road Race, his last race in Ontario before heading up to Calgary to join the Olympic Oval Program.
